Something To Be Grateful For

One of the escaped chickens is back! She came back all on her own. The husband went outside and saw her on top of the fence. These two new blondies can easily fly six feet high. We named them Alex and Haley (named after Modern Family). The other one is in the neighbors back yard. But they’re at work. I’ll try to get her later this afternoon. My back is feeling a little better, but the kid is still sick. Today I have to get an oil change an get salads supplies for the rest of the weekend. I have to get these two things done, because we are leaving tonight.

The Godfathers are in Orlando waiting for us! We are driving to Orlando to spend thanksgiving with them and hopefully get to go to one of the parks. The original plan was to go to Legoland and Magic Kingdom, but we’ll be happy if we get to go to Legoland.

We’ll be happy regardless cause we love the godfathers and the husband hasn’t seen them since probably last Christmas. But we would like it if we got to also go to Legoland. But we’ll see. I don’t want to strain myself any more and the kid has to go back to a regular schedule next week.

The neighbor’s son, is coming to watch the house, feed the animals and water the plants. He’s been doing it for years and we trust him. Well, I’m hoping the son does it. Because in the past, my neighbor usually takes over the responsibilities. Yeah, squirrel master I’m talking about you!
